Texting your congregation just got a lot easier:
You can now text people using your local Clearstream numbers from within Planning Center People!
Texting is one of the fastest ways for churches to connect with people, and Clearstream is the premier option available—with customer support rivaled only by yours truly.
Thousands of organizations—mega churches, church plants, and nonprofits—rely on Clearstream to communicate with their congregation. Many of you use Clearstream alongside Planning Center to have two-way conversations with people, send video texts, run live polls, and much more.
Clearstream’s new add-on feature in Planning Center removes a step from your workflow so you can talk to your congregation faster by texting right from your contact list in the People database.
All you need is a Clearstream account and access to lists in Planning Center People and you can get started!
Text Lists of People from Your Clearstream Numbers
The first version of this new add-on can help you do a lot of your day-to-day communication with your church.
Starting right now, you can send a text to a list of people in Planning Center, schedule a text to send at a specific time to a list, and include an image—all from your local Clearstream phone numbers.
Make announcements, send out reminders, and ask for prayer requests—then see people’s responses in the Clearstream mobile app!
Also, we have it on good authority that Clearstream has a lot more planned for this feature, releasing soon. So be sure to send your questions (and feature requests) their way at help@clearstream.io and then keep an eye out for updates on their changelog.

How to Add Clearstream to Your Account
Go to your account settings and check out the new tab at the very bottom on the left, enable the feature, and you’re done—pretty straightforward!
