New: CSV export for multi-group event attendance reporting

March 25, 2025
*This feature is rolling out over the next few days
Tracking and analyzing event attendance across multiple groups can be challenging. Identifying group events with low attendance (to provide support) or recognizing high-attendance group events (to share best practices) can be difficult without clear insights. Additionally, combining attendance data with other church information for presentations and reports can be cumbersome when access to the data is limited. We're excited to announce a new CSV export for multi-group event attendance reporting, making it easier for admins to access and utilize group event data!
How does it work?
- Navigate to Groups/Reports
- Choose any filters (Group Type, Tags, etc.)
- Choose your Start/End dates
- On the Event Attendance reporting widget Click the CSV Export button
- You’ll have options on what data you want included with the export
- After you click the Create Export button, an email will be sent to you that includes a button to download the CSV.
- Having the attendance counts for members and visitors gives you the granularity into what’s driving the attendance numbers, and where you might need to investigate any low-attendance issues.
- The Group attendance report url column gives you a link to easily jump to the Group attendance report to see exactly who is attending.
Why is this awesome?
We know how crucial group event attendance reporting is to monitor group health. We're committed to improving reporting in Groups, and this CSV export is just the beginning with other enhancements to come! If you have any feedback on this feature or other thoughts and ideas we’d love to hear from you by clicking on the (?) icon in the top right corner of Planning Center.
Do an attend-dance today now that you can export this event data into a CSV!
