New: Shareable dashboards

February 26, 2025
Everyone in your organization has access to their own personal launch pad that brings everything together. It’s called “My Dashboard” and it’s available in Planning Center Home.
As of today, you now have the ability to create additional shareable dashboards that can serve as launch pads for your teams, projects, events, and ministries!
The emphasis here is on the “shareable” part. Create a dashboard that is laser-focused on a specific ministry that you can share with the team who makes it happen as well as your executive pastor who wants to see how things are going. All collaborators can view dashboard content regardless of their specific permissions. For example, if you add a Check-Ins attendance widget and a collaborator doesn’t have access to Check-Ins — they’ll still be able to see attendance data on the dashboard.
To get started, all you have to do is create a new dashboard and start adding widgets.
If you have any private or shared metrics dashboards in People, they’ve already been migrated to Home for you. We’ll make sure any saved links you have to those pages take you to the right place so you don’t miss a beat.
Add collaborators to your dashboard as viewers or editors. Anyone who can log in to Planning Center — including volunteers who are scheduled viewers in Services or leaders in Groups — can be added as dashboard collaborators.
When you share a dashboard, the recipient will receive a notification by email and in their Planning Center inbox. They’ll also see a new tab for it the next time they visit Home.
We’ve got big plans for shared dashboards and truly believe they’re going to revolutionize the way you think about collaborating and reporting in Planning Center. This is just the first step so stay tuned and if it's your first time here: welcome home!
