Things have changed rapidly for many of us here at Planning Center, and we know they have for many of you as well.
Since schools are closing, many of our employees are now homeschooling their children; and with the arrival of COVID-19 to San Diego County, we've officially closed our Carlsbad office for the foreseeable future.
We have been a remote company for a long time, so we can continue to do our jobs from anywhere we have the internet. This has helped us make some adjustments to our schedules, so our employees can care for their families during this time.
We want to assure you that the essentials of our company's DNA, and what we promise to provide to our churches, is not changing.
So while our context has changed, and things are not "business as usual," we are still here and working to support you.
Flexible subscription options
You can continue to adjust your Planning Center subscriptions to meet the needs of your church. You can upgrade, scale back, or cancel your plan altogether without incurring any fees. Your account will be here when you need it.
< 1 hour response time for support
Ministry might look a little different for you these days, but it certainly hasn't stopped, and our support team will not stop providing you with the help you need.
While our team has adjusted their schedules to both work and take care of their families, they won't leave you hanging. You can count on our team to consistently give a response to your question within one business hour.
Maintaining reliable product speed
With the changes in the last few days, our products are being used in different ways by churches. For example, over the weekend, Check-Ins usage was predictably down 75% of its usual traffic, while usage of other features increased due to churches meeting remotely.
We expect fluctuations in traffic to continue and are prepared to dynamically scale our servers to keep the platform running consistently, so you can continue to rely on the tools you need.
Regular product updates released in slo-mo
While our product teams have also adjusted their hours, you can still expect to see product updates here on the blog and social media. In addition to fast-tracking certain features to help churches respond to the unique needs of the time, we are also continuing to make progress on updates and releases our teams have been planning and working on for months.
None of us know what the future may hold, but know we are doing our best to be mindful of how the current environment is impacting both our employees and you, our customers.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out. You can email us, or click the question mark in the top right corner of any product.
Stay healthy and keep doing good work.
